W3 Stornoway - Garynahine - Great Bernera 4 per day
W4 Stornoway - Garynahine - Uig District 3 to 4 per day
W5 Tolsta - Back - Coll - Tong - Stornoway - Aignish - Swordale - Bayble/Shulishader - Portnaguran Hourly service
W8 Stornoway - Leurbost - Ranish 6 to 8 per day
W9 Stornoway - Kershader - Gravir - Lemreway - Orinsay 4 per day
W10 Stornoway - Laxay - Balallan - Ardvourlie - Ardhasaig - Tarbert - Horgabost - Northton - Leverburgh Pier (for Sound Of Harris Ferry) 4 to 5 per day
W13 Tarbert - Drinishader - Scadabay - Stockinish - Manish - Rodel - Leverburgh ("The Golden Road") 3 to 4 per day
There are also less frequent services to Cromore, Marvig, Amhuinnsuidhe, Hushinish, Rhenigidale, Scalpay and Strond.

W18 Lochmaddy - Sollas - Tigharry - Balranald - Bayhead - Clachan 3 per day
W19 Lochmaddy - Otternish (for Berneray and Sound of Harris ferries) 6 to 7 per day
W29 Lochboisdale - Daliburgh - Boisdale Townships - Ludag Pier (for Eriskay & Barra Ferries) - South Glendale 5 per day
There are also less frequent services to Baleshare Island, Locheport, Sidinish, Grimsay Island, Iochdar, and Ardivachar, Lochcarnan district and Locheynort
No. Barra Routes Summer Schedule
W32 Castlebay - Northbay - Barra Airport - Eoligarry (for Sound of Barra ferry) 6 to 7 per day
W33 Castlebay - Vatersay 3 to 4 per day
 

Services operate on most routes until approximately 18.15. There are also evening services on route W5 to Tolsta, Bayble and Portnaguran, and within Stornoway town. Buses do not operate on Sundays. Fares are reasonable, especially for long journeys. Day Returns are available.

Full details of all air, ferry, and bus services operating to and within the islands are shown in the "Lewis and Harris Travel Guide" and the "Uists and Barra Travel Guide"available at 40p each from Tourist Information Centres, or by post in advance, which incurs £1 postage cost.
